This area will study the impact of #MeToo in Portugal, particularly focusing on how the Portuguese media followed the developments of the movement abroad; how media coverage of some controversial Portuguese (mostly) judicial cases was \u2013 or not \u2013 influenced by the movement; and how pervasive conceptions and ideals of masculinities in the Portuguese mediascape contributed to include, refrain or exclude the debates on masculinities, sexual violence and sexual harassment generated around #MeToo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
