This area will study media representations of environmental issues, events and actors in Portugal (from climate change phenomena and environmental activists and NGOs to any environmental issues raised by the Portuguese media), with the purpose of understanding if these representations are gendered or not; and how they impact the way in which men and women in the Portuguese context interpret and act upon environmental issues.
